Policies That Apply Everywhere
These are the same no matter which clinician you work with.
Sliding-Scale Policy
We keep a limited number of reduced-fee spots for clients going through financial strain. If approved, sliding-scale arrangements are reviewed in 90-day increments - this keeps things fair and gives more people a chance to access reduced rates over time.
How to Pay
- Cash
- Check
- Credit or debit card
Payment is due at the time of service unless a prepay option is used.
Prepay Discounts
Some clinicians offer a reduced rate if you prepay up to 24 hours in advance. If you cancel or reschedule with 24 hours' notice, we'll refund or apply that amount to a future session. Late cancellations and no-shows follow the policy below.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
- 24 hours or more notice: No charge.
- Less than 24 hours notice: Full session fee.
- No-show (no notice): Full session fee.
Court & Legal Services
If a clinician needs to appear in court or participate in legal proceedings related to your case, there's a fee for that.
$1500 per day for court appearance or legal testimony
This covers preparation, travel, waiting, and appearing in court - usually due in advance. Other costs may apply for report writing, record review, or attorney communication.
Good Faith Estimate
Under federal law, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for non-emergency services if you're not using insurance.
