About
Born in a refugee camp and raised as a Cambodian American in Minnesota, I know firsthand what it's like to build an identity in unfamiliar ground. I work with adults navigating anxiety and career change — especially people whose work was a big part of who they are, and who are figuring out what comes next when the title, the team, or the plan changes.
Before becoming a counselor, I was a high school basketball coach, and I still use coaching-based strategies to help clients work through performance anxiety, strengthen motivation, and build long-term resilience. My approach blends solution-focused practices, cognitive behavioral strategies, and culturally responsive counseling to meet you where you are — grounded in compassion and cultural humility.
If the noise in your head is louder than your own judgment, that's a good place to start.

Shared Clinical Framework
Our counselors work from a shared transition-centered framework: helping clients reestablish psychological stability and direction after trauma, betrayal, identity disruption, or major life change.
- Agency restoration: strengthening choice, boundaries, and self-trust when life has felt reactive or constrained.
- Narrative reconstruction: integrating disruptive experiences into a coherent story that supports forward movement.
- Transition work: translating insight into practical steps that support stability, meaning, and sustainable direction.
